WHAT WE OFFER OUR RESIDENTS:
Excellent health care is provided by our team of experienced and dedicated caregivers. This is led by our Clinical Manager in consultation with our local GP's.
We provide a comprehensive and varied activities programme Monday to Friday, with regular outings in our modern purpose built van. Sample of activities

We encourage independence and continued involvement with hobby/community groups and with friends and family.

In addition to fulltime live-in residential care, we also provide:
RESPITE CARE - Short or Long Term
Respite care is great for those recovering from surgery, illness or accident. also, for those receiving full time care at home, to allow their carer to have a break.
Check with us to see if this may be Government funded.
PALLIATIVE CARE
We provide compassionate and dignified End of Life care: specialised comfort cares in conjunction with individual and family wishes; and liaison with our GP and Hospice.
DAY CARE: MON - FRI - 10 AM TO 3PM
The Cottage warmly welcomes you to join them for morning, lunch and afternoon tea. Come along and partake in our activities programme before and after lunch. The cottage can pick you up in the morning and return you to your home after 3pm. This can be daily or on a casual basis.

This service can be accessed by phoning the Community Support team via Taranaki Base Hospital or can be paid privately at $54.61 per day.
MEALS ON WHEELS - MON - FRI - 12 noon
We deliver nutritious, home-cooked two-course meals to your door from 12pm onwards. Meals include meat, vegetables, and dessert, all prepared on-site.
Price: $12.50 per meal (effective 1st January 2025).
We accommodate dietary needs for diabetics and can set aside meals if you are away.
